New event center to open in Twin Falls

Amid a growing economic slump in Idaho and across the nation at least one entrepreneur is making an effort to stimulate business.  The owner of 360s in Twin Falls (dance club, restaurant, bar and event center) has leased new space in Twin Falls designed to be used for events such as weddings, concerts and other events.  LGBT people in Southern Idaho are thrilled at the prospect that the long-time supporter of the gay community is leasing new space and hope that this will provide yet another venue for the fundraising and social events which have become common-place for LGBT residents of Twin Falls and their supporters.

There has been a resurgence of mutual support between the gay communities in Twin Falls and Boise (Idaho's largest metropolitan area and just 100 miles west of Twin Falls), with fundraising efforts being supported by sectors from both communities.

Sources say that the new facility will have 2 bars, plenty of room for large events and will continue to play host to the drag shows that have become a popular event for Twin Falls.  A tentative date for a grand-opening party has been slated for mid May of 2009.
